Dispatch from the Kamadhenu Herald
17 December 3301
Congratulations Commanders! Pilots pledged to the Emperor and her three staunchest allies successfully opposed two militarized expansions encroaching on systems loyal to Emperor Lavigny-Duval, one deep in the Imperial core! President Hudson's attempt to run security operations against Gold Life LTD in HIP 44811 have once again met with failure, while resistance pockets in LTT 874 have successfully fought off the barbarous practices of the Kumo Crew.
The Federal Sheggan Transport Corporation has accepted the liberal aide provided by Shadow President Winters. Those Federal Couriers may not find all is well in Shenggan, as Balis Patron's Principles a faction to watch in Shenggan.
The Shadow President's success in Shenggan, and Kamadhenu's inability to walk the tightrope between sparsely-populated expansions and distant, yet well-populated systems has led to a change in the Galactic Powers Top 10 poll. Three distant systems: Tujil, Juipedi, and HR 4720 are unbalanced and citizens there are protesting the oversight of Emperor Lavigny-Duval's Shield of Justice. President Hudson is also experiencing a similar situation, with three distant systems disrupted by protests.
Last week saw new controversy, as a coalition of Imperial minor factions claimed success in their attempts to sabotage the functioning of Gabriel Enterprise in Harma. Opinions throughout the Empire and within the Kamadhenu coterie itself are very divided.
Research's opinion of the crime sweep systems last week was poor, and all agree that the so-called "weaponised-preparations" succeeded in the goal of driving the political structure into a state of turmoil that does not truly put the Emperor's political base at risk. This week there is another one of those systems in the midst of systems pledged to Winters: CD-27 5409. The other expansion, in Aymifa, is not well placed to gain a return from the populated systems nearby. According to Research, Tewi would have been a better choice to re-extend the Emperor's influence back into Aymifa.
Last week's efforts were profoundly successful, and a better implementation of similar goals should serve the Emperor well this week. There appear to be no active expansions encroaching on the Emperor's loyal systems. There areviolent protests in Deneb associated with Utopian Agitators and resistance pockets forming against the Kumo Crew in the distant Imperial system of Contie.
Update: Sirius Gov has put out a call to oppose the Shadow President's expansion into Dongkum. No one is asking for our assistance, but Winters was successful in Shenggan last week, due to an impressive level of coordination among the three powers hostile to the Emperor. Why not follow the Sirius advice and go have some fun?
Research's advice this week is the same as it has been for months. With minimal fortification, we should be able to secure our most importantly placed systems, which return the greatest political capital for the costs of upkeep. While opposition of those Imperial systems is suggested, both are frontier systems.
Good luck and godspeed, Commanders.

Opposing is enojable, funny and boosts collaboration: you shoot ships and that's something relatively unusual compared to our ever-present fortifications. It's even more funny if we do that in wings. Warning: this can imply PvP fights and retalations in our very own space.
