Display Issues.. need advive

Hi everyone,

I have an Alienware 51 with dual titian Z cards that can run in SLI mode. I have discovered that my Oculus Rift will not run in SLI mode. My issue is that Elite Dangerous will not display in the Oculus. I have the sound of Elite Dangerous in the headphones but no graphics. Also, when using Oculus Elite doesnot display on my 4K monitor. So my question is this: What is the correcthook-up in NVidia settings that I need?
When I want to play Elite dangerous, I turn everything on SLI and play it on my 4K monitor but when I want to play on my Oculus then I have to go out ofthe SLI mode before it will run. The Oculus is plugged into the second card. The 4K monitor is plugged into the primary card. I just bought a 4K splitter to try to get both of them to work off the primary card. When the Oculus came onit knocked out my 4K monitor. I am sure it is a simple setting that I have not figured out yet, to get the best quality for both the monitor and the Oculus. Please advise

I haven't had SLI in a while but i had a crossfire system last year. Usually the second card is just supporting. At least with crossfire you'd have to have display and Rift plugged into the same card.
Your biggest problem are the used cards though. The Titan Z is a dual GPU card so it runs SLI onboard allready. In VR you basically can use one of your 4 available GPU cores and that available core is way too slow for playing VR games.
The titan Z was an incredibly expensive card a while ago but it simply is not up to this task anymore.

I dont have an SLI rig, but if i recall right, the Rift must be plugged to the same card, than the main monitor.

[edit] If your TV uses the HDMI slot, use a Display Port to HDMI adapter for the Rrift. Make sure it supports 4k and HDMI 1.2
