Hi Simo,
welcome to the forums :). It's a shame that you are disappointed in the lack of planetary landings in the core game, and the fact that you will likely have to pay extra. However, this has been known since November 2012.

Still I hope you enjoy the spacey bits once you get your hands on it, I think it feels fantastic :D

I pledged to elite dangerous under the assumption that i would eventually be able to land on planets i didn't realize in order to do this i will have to fork out ..
Etc

Ermmm right

Why are we even reacting?
Its just a matter of time before you'll be sorry having ever posted.
Elite will be every thing you ever hoped for.
With planetary landings included.
Elite isn't just a game
Its build on the Cobra engine.
David Braben's own made pride and joy.
Fact is just that you haven't researched and pledged enough to enjoy the ride.

Im feeling sorry for you

But im going to enjoy my pledge to the fullest in anticipation and awaiting this deathstar of procedural_generation_game_engine.

And then.. pledging is not buying

haha what was the point of posting this ?

This was literally the first thing I - and many others looked for info on - when the kickstarted was announced.

It was there plain as day and easy to find on the kickstarted page.

I pledged to elite dangerous under the assumption that i would eventually be able to land on planets i didn't realize in order to do this i will have to fork out more cash i got the impression that it would be tacked on later as a free download, from the forum on the kick-starter page whilst chatting to Braben.
I know money has to be made but don't charge for the ability to land when that clearly completes the game. 8(

I think there is a very long way to go before we see planetary landings - likely the first expansion. Which perhaps might be two years after release? That all said this has been common knowledge since early on in the kickstarter project. It was never going to be tacked on either, its a huge undertaking from my understanding and is likely going to involve a huge development period.

Personally, I think you should chill.. there is going to be more than enough to enjoy when the game nears release. ;)

Received plenty of "reported posts" regarding this thread.

It is starting to go round in circles a little. I think most things on this topic has now been discussed yes ?
