Distant Screams - A video series.

"2 months ago, the AEV Dormant Star, a participant in the Distant Worlds Expedition, went missing. A search team was dispatched to find it, but they were unsucsesfull. The ship was declared destroyed the 20th of April 3302, the whereabouts of the pilot remains unknown..."

After i actually quite accuratley, went missing from Distant Worlds, had my 1 month break from elite, i think i'm finally back to elite.
But so i cannot say about my characther. He wakes up by being violently dragged out of supercruise, and with multiplie modules critically damaged. Not knowing where he is, who he is and with a missing galactic database, he is out of luck, and it seems as if he is stranded in deepspace with no knowledge of where to go. However, he knows he's a proven explorer, and with the power of thinking, he may manage to get home... However, whatever caused this event in the first place, could very well reocurr..

(And yes this will include exploration content, i didn't post it here for any reason either)

Try spelling "I" with a capital I and use commas (as in Ship, run diagnostics), it'll be much cleaner. Nice as an idea, but I'd try and see if there are any decent free voice to speech services out there. In addition, ships using amnesia-causing gas that can potentially rupture into the living areas seems.. stretched to say the least. A pilot who wakes up with an amnesia tens of thousands of ly away from home.. my question wouldn't be about amnesia-causing gas leaks (?!), I'd be much more likely to first get a systems status and damage report, then I'd try and go through the ship's logs after and see if I can determine the ship's position to see if I can work out what happened and where to go from there. Would probably run a deck by deck manual inspection of the ship, too, see if I had or still have a crew, and if I still do someone might know what happened. Not saying you should invent characters on your crew now, but trying to find other survivors aboard would definitely be high up on my list of things to do, as would be finding a med-bay and seeing if there's some autodoc that could run a checkup and possibly find the cause of the amnesia.

Anyway, just suggestions off the top of my head :)

I like the idea, :) but your computer voice is too quiet, I can barely hear it.

I know, i'm using quite a.. well unconventional recording method to say the least, so the audio is a bit low. I'll try to find a way to make it better next time.

That's a lot of suggestions off the top of your head, but yeah i will try to add some of them.

A TTS program that will generate directly to a file is the best. I use my Mac for it and the built-in TTS software it has. I was looking for other software before I twigged how it could be done with what I had already :)

And now, the long (not really) awaited (unlikely) episode 2 of Distant Screams - On the search for ___
