Distant stored ship + Orca without role = same solution?

Couldn't we buy passage on an Orca to travel to where our other stored ship is located? This creates a real working role for the only passenger ship in the game and would (hopefully) be cheaper than the alternatives.

1000CR per lightyear per passenger, it could turn a healthy profit. Every time an Orca plots their route, a message could be posted on each system Bulletin Board "transport available". Commanders could then book passage and get picked up. Passengers pay for the distance between their location and destination as a fixed cost. The Orca would have a "pickups on route" list and a "next paid destination" list. If the Orca is human and quits the game (or gets destroyed) passengers are returned to last station and refunded.

I imagine this would have to be part of the EVA expansion (for passengers at least) so they can wander around in the Orca interior during their trip.

How about it FD? Up for the challenge?

Currently the existing options are:
  • Buy Eagle, upgrade FSD and add fuel scoop to use as taxi, then sell it when you get to your stored ship.
  • Fly ship 1 to ship 2's location then store ship 1 - not always possible if ship 1 has limited jump range.
  • Always sell your ship when upgrading and don't store one. Just keep cash in the bank.
    and
  • Spend an extra 47,000,000CR to buy a white Lakon Type 6 that only fits on Large pads.

I'm interested to hear what other commanders do regarding ship storage. Do you have a trail of unloved and discarded ships all over the galaxy? Or do you have a home-world with a breathtaking hangar full of super ships?
