Distant Worlds 3 expedition is postponed indefinitely (from DW Project Leader Erimus)

In before someone in complete denial comes and say they are a bunch of whiner, "who are those guys and why should I care", "they are not credible because [insert reason here], and should leave, we don't them", and that Frontier need to remember then when the time come of payback (yeah I've read that to).

I'm waiting to have the planetary tech fixed to go exploring myself. I'd like to, but not when it look like that. I feel bad for this people who are way more invested than I ever was.

I feel explorers have borne the worst of the "bait and switch" that Odyssey did with the terrain, it's bad for everyone, but even more so for those who primarily want to go and see the terrain.
I mean if you go that way, there is pretty much nothing for traders in the DLC, to technically speaking they did get the worst, they were simply forgotten.
But yeah, a big part of exploration is planets. I mean, I'd say there is little else in the end, it's pretty much the background for almost everything. If it's broken, then what's the point ?
Why you say that? It is better now. Horizons looks like cartoons comparing to "photo realistic" in Odessey. Sure lighting need adjustment yet...
You are living in a strange universe my friend. One most of us don't live in.

But its like all groups in ED. Frontier dropped the eleven player groups from Powerplay and ignored them for years. Pirates continually getting nothing, criminals in general getting nothing.

Power what ?
I understand, but they did a little thing with the DLC (I mean, not speaking of the anarchy issue). You have heist and several criminal missions. And one of the engineer is unlockable for having poor reputation with Sirius. You can also steal stuff, and it's useful. Sure smuggling is just about dumping drugs from a crash site to an anarchy bartender, so yeah.

I mean, they thought of the criminal side and implemented some stuff. It's very little, but everything is very little in the DLC.

I don't say it's good, min you, but we wouldn't have this talk is the DLC was considered "good" by the majority.

30 seconds in to the video : " There is this game Star Citizen ... " - Laughed, Disliked and Blocked channel.

I remember Distant Worlds 2 - what a scam it was, when they adandon half of players just to go and turn in their Data to be on the leaderboard.

Won't miss them.
Damned, I forget to mentioned the "they are not credible because reason, and should leave". My bad, will edit my comment.

Explorers by the same token 'got a lot' too. Loads of plants, a Dyson sampler and refreshed planet surfaces.

I'm really talking about space, not foot gameplay. Give it six months and people will have forgotten all about bases. The biggest sin FD did was to ignore the real meat of ED and thats space, and the previous five years of 'listening to players'.
