The Issue
Jumping can be arduous, tedious, and mind-numbingly boring.
The Solution
A radio station would bring all of us disparate explorers together because music substantially helps to combat this disease of the mind.
My suggestions is for a radio that will play travel or exploration music.
with regular segments, interviews, song requests, etc.
Or at least a collation of travel/exploration music.
Example of songs that might do fit the theme:
Drive All Night - Protomen
Highway to Hell - AC/DC
In the Black - Marian Call
Got to Fly - Marian Call
Time & Space - The Accidental
Starlight - Muse
Life on Mars - David Bowie
A Thousand Miles - Vanessa Carlton
I would walk 500 miles - The Proclaimers
Bar Bar Bar - Crayon Pop
And probably much much more.. What we need is a playlist! so add your suggestions!
Why not radio sidewinder? (or Lave Radio or Hutton Orbital Radio)
Those radio stations aren't catered towards us.
We're going to be out here for 3 months.
we don't want to listen galnet news spoken by an android or listen to player faction ads that have no bearing on our current situation.(Well maybe a little news would be nice)
We could have:
interviews every day or so with someone in the expedition
moments of silence for those who died
Phone in song requests or dedications
travel advisories...
announcements...
so much more...
And most importantly music that keeps us entertained, safe and alert
