[Distant Worlds] Thor's Eye (black hole) is worth a visit on way to Lagoon nebula (WP2)

Nice. I'll have to make the detour.
I'll be on my way there tommorrow, with a detour to the Bug Nebula too.

I was there just a couple minutes from now, but I was afraid of getting too close... Standed at 900km...
Question is, is it safe to get this close as you did? I wonder if there is a body exclusion limit
There is a body exclusion limit, but you have to get pretty close to it.

It's unedited video, so it's a little long, but you can see I got pulled out at around 87 km, and hit the exclusion zone at about 81 km. I took no damage from either, so it's quite safe to play with.

Thanks for the video, I could get a lot of useful info from it, especially how quickly your heat levels rise after engaging supercruise to get out from the black hole's influence. Rep +1
Thanks! I'll go back and check this out. As I was plotting my course to the Lagoon Nebula it's strange how this system smilled at me urging to go there, but I prefered a more straightforward course. Damn!Also check out LKHA 115 if you are close by: 3 Black Holes
