Hi,
Right now, there is no reason not to go for the short range mod on Multicannons in my opinion. It has the highest DPS and the range reduction is no real downside in my opinion. 1750m is good enough for Multi Cannons. I cant see that anybody is going for Overcharged with the new stats. (Correct me if im wrong plz). Rapid Fire was pretty much irrelevant before and now is in an even worse spot with 0.5° jitter and lower rate of fire.
All of those three mods should increase damage but in my opinion there is no meaningfull choice. Id like to suggest the following:
Rapid fire:
* Reduce Jitter so that they are on par with Overcharged when it comes ro range.
* Increase Fire Rate so that they offer slightly more DPS than Overcharged
* Reduce Ammo Capacity a lot
* Reduced Distributor Draw is not that important for MCs, also there is the Efficient mod.
Rapid Fire would be the highest DPS mod with the downside that you cant use it in long Bounty Hunting Sessions or really long fights.
Overcharged:
With slightly less damage than Rapid fire but without ammo capacity penalty, this would be the go to mod for Bounty Hunting in Res Sites
Short Range:
* Decrease the range even more so that it actually means something
Short range would be a nieche mod for people who are sure that they can get up close.
What do you guys think? Is my assessment of the current state wrong? Happy for feedback
