Horizons Distress Call -- Thoughts?

Jumped into HIP 14909 to check out the new Thargoid wreckage. Saw a Distress Signal with no Threat Level. This is what I found:

For me as well. But i noticed that something strangely mass locked me, despite me being in deep space.

It's because the FED's double crossed the Thargoids and now they are hunting them down

Think about it, all the sites like that are always Fed ships, Just saying.

Yeah, I noticed that as well. Also, there was no target or scan lock location. Note the "green goo" as well.So we've seen: (a) A thargoid edifice in the system (b) A damaged/disabled ship. NOT destroyed as you would assume. Just on fire and floating. (c) Known instances of thargoid interaction with people exiting the edifices. Makes me wonder if it links to the Formadine Rift mystery, only because of one comment in that story that stated "the real enemy isn't out here, it's back there" (paraphrased).

HIP 14909 - I just picked up "Unknown Biological Matter". The ship here (the thargoid one) has the same "damage" on it as the ship we found. Looks kind of like...barnacles on ship's hulls? Curiouser.
