No seriously, at one point I got permanently stuck in the supercruise transistion when trying to leave a high-res — Had to kill Elite with the task manager.

Seriously, with the Power Play tick, and Frontier in crunch mode, this is no surprise.

For me its a little sluggish on loading the mission board, as if often the case for UK evenings, but no dropouts or hangs here.

It's nothing to do with Elite Dangerous or Frontier.
Blizzard released an expansion to World Of Warcraft, and as is the case with something that big, someone is DDoS'ing it (Distributed Denial Of Service). Because Blizzard use a lot of servers around the world, other online games are being affected. about 14 - 21 hours ago (from the time of this post) the SWTOR servers were feeling the fallout from the WoW DDoS attack, even though they weren't getting DDoS'd themselves. It's reasonable to assume that while this is going on at Blizzard, Elite Dangerous will feel its effects as well.

To be fair, that some [insert profanity here] thinks it's cool to DDoS WoW and cause misery to thousands, maybe even millions of people who want to play, not just WoW, but other games too ... is not Blizzard or WoW's fault.
