Saw something similar when on holiday recently, just the utter blackness at the heart of the things go terrifies me!
I once got taken a few miles of the coast of Mexico to swim in the actual sea. Was reassured there was only about 20ft of water below us. Turned out it was a hell of a lot more. I couldn't get back in the boat quickly enough! Good clip.
