Diving underwater

I really hope that animals other than hippos dive underwater. Crocadilians spend so much much time submerged it would be strange for them not to in the game. It also makes underwater viewing areas better.

Maybe they didn't implemented those animations in builds which they showed us and waiting build with polar bear and penguins to do that

I belive they're most likely just perfecting the animations lie the animal to animal interactions they've said they're perfecting for launch

Same goes for surfacing animations. I'd love to see the hippos surface to breathe from time to time.
Not necessarily as a mechanic (drowning) as it might come with an entire set of problems of its own, but more as a cosmetic/visual detail.

Maybe the selection of semi-aquatics we got was very carefully chosen because they didn't want to give something away...
