DK2 and Engineers Beta...

I am running a DK2 with latest Oculus software and noticing a fair bit of stalling in Engineers Betas, not judder but full on stalls that bring up the Oculus software eggtimer. This starts to happen and seems to get more frequent the longer I'm playing, I am really curious to know if others are experiencing this too? And not just on the DK2, the current Horizons 2.0 has no such issues.

I'm not having the issues your staying, but after playing for about half hour to an hour, what happens for me is have to reset my view every minute or so bc the view starts jumping around. Also, and I haven't isolated whether or not this us from Oculus or frontier, my view will someone tilt if I look to the left or right. My post on that issue below:

Not to hijack the thread but if your DK2 is suffering from micro jumps (the tracking makes the screen seem to jump up and down) and the only way to stop it is to cover the DK2 camera or break the tracking then you have a faulty DK2. I had the same issue, it slowly happened more and more over time, Oculus replaced mine back in January due to it.

That jumping when looking left (common DK2 problem see thread) and constant head reset (so much so I bound F12 to an alt fire button) was my main complaint about the DK2

Maybe a bit off the topic, but is the DK2 still officially supported? It's an outdated piece of dev hardware as far as I know, should Frontier still invest time in having it run properly?

No I wasn't on about the occasional loss of tracking and greying out that sometimes occurs, but complete halts that last a second or so and the Oculus software egg timer appears briefly. As I said I get no such issues with 2.0.

YES still supported for now. I know, I am using it! Black Smearing is an issue though for ED in particular on DK2
