Hello, I could use a bit of help. I am sorry if this has been asked many times already but I need some input.
I've been reading a lot on the differences between the DK2 and CV1 and while reactions are mixed between "I was expecting more" to "This is such a great upgrade", there are a few things I was wondering about.
The FOV, I hear some say its lower on the CV1, other says its higher. FOV = Immersion for me so its really important, how much of a difference is it really??
God Rays. It appears the lenses are not super great and that you get extreme amount of godrays which is especially bad in ED. Some say they just had to go back to DK2 as it has none of the god rays and darks were better (quite important for space games). Other details I missed?
I am looking also at the vive but can't say much about it, I didnt yet get to that part. The rift however is much better priced so it does play an important factor. Also there is the pimax 8k which seemed to be geared towards perfection but its not there yet and while I have a 1080 strix, it might be a while before we can truly power it.
What do you guys think about the CV1 issues, FOV, Godrays, dark not being as good as the DK2? What about the Vive or the Pimax, hold on the DK2 and save $$ for them instead?
