DK2 reset button location?

Hi there, just reinstalled my DK2 in order to give someone a demonstration of ED in VR. All set up nicely again (thanks for the guides) only problem i have is that at some point I moved the binding for f12 recentering the DK2 and now I can't find it in control options?

Am i going mad or being dumb?

"Reset HMD Orientation" is in Miscellaneous between "cargo scoop" and "balance power distribution"

I'm hoping the binding setting screen gets a makeover.

I agree. IMO, FD should at least make each section collapsible/expandable by clicking left/right on the section header (like the directories in Windows Explorer). Make them start out collasped by default, and remember the individual expanded/collapsed status of each section between sessions.

When there were less control options (in the early days) it was just about manageable, but with each addition, such as the galaxy map controls and the SRV controls, it's become a bit of a mess.

I use a DK2 with an X52, and try to use the X52 as much as possible to navigate through the menus, so reaching for the mouse is a bit of a pain.

I use the same and it's not easy! how do you manage the Galaxy Map?

Using the Galaxy map is the only time I need to reach for the mouse (to change focus to the info panel).

I also need to lift up the DK2 to see the keyboard when typing in a system search (I'm not a touch typist). This could be mitigated to some extend by having the last 10-20 searches as a combo-listbox search field rather than just a textbox, so I can select them without needing to type anything.

The rest of the Galaxy map I can use with just the X52.

Necessity is the mother of invention

I love the idea of a tenex-style recall of past searches. I wasn't a touch typist before... but I am now.

Or just set up Voice Attack to press any key you bind it to on your keyboard. This is what I did after I got tired of fiddling with the headset. Now I just say "Oculus Center" and it's done.
