So I got myself a setup for ED - Warthog HOTAS, BF109 Slaw pedals, Wheel Stand Pro. Getting an Ekornes Stressless chair soon too I guess.
And of course DK2. Now the rest of the system is fairly standard - i5 2500k @4.4Ghz , 16GB , AMD 280X a a few Samsung EVO 850s.
All running a newly updated Windows 10. Now, I kinda like Win10 and would prefer to keep it. What is the best way to play ED with a DK2 with my setup? I do not mind installing Win 7 or 8.1 on a separate SSD just for Elite.
Then everyone speaks of running only 0.5 - 0.6 worked fine for me on Win8.1, why would I prefer 0.5?
Also, can I run DK2 on two OS installs , like 0.7+ on Win10 and 0.6 on Win7/8.1 for ED only?
Also, getting an update in a few months I think - probably an i7-6700k and whatever juicy AMD or Nvidia are offering - Fury X or 980Ti - which one of those would you recommend?
