DK2 Startup with OCulus S/W

Hello People..

I am wondering if I am the only person(highly unlikely) that has some issues with the initial startup of the DK2 with the Oculus software, I get a blue light on the camera and headset but no picture? and repeated closing down and running of the software seems to eventually, and quite randomly, get things working.

This behaviour has changed since the initial launch of the CV1 software, as initially the HDM would be in the same state but instead of a blue light but an orange one and the same process of closing and restarting software finally got it working, after a small Oculus update it ended up as I stated above with a blue light instead but same issue.

yeah, it seems to be a delayed startup sometimes. at first i was just closing and reopening the rift store s/w but eventually foun that if i left it alone for a few more seconds it would start up on it's own.

I was quite hopeful seeing your message, so I tried that straight away, waited an entire 2 minutes (I know so impatient) and still nothing.. then suddenly it springs to life.. How curious? Thanks for that tip.

Well I thought I would report this finding here, it appears that for me to get a perfectly working DK2 / Oculus Home software I need to run the Oculus software first then switch on the DK2 when that is running, out of about 20 attempts it has yet to bug out. Hope this helps someone else.
