Dlc deadlines and COVID

How did the Corona Virus take the Dlcs with new animals longer to confirm and arrive? Before the virus happened, Jurassic World Evolution Dlcs happened faster.

I’m sure it’s definitely affected things a tad bit. I’m sure working from home and trying to work together that way presents some challenges. All in all I think frontier has done a great job. Another guess between the two games is I’m sure PZ has a little more ai and a whole lot more going on in game. Another example is when doing a new dlc there’s a lot of updating to the current game as well if they introduce a new pack enrichment then they allow a current roster animal to use it that requires some work. Staff and guests also need constant tweaking I’m sure. JWE is kind of a bad game to compare it to because of how much more PZ has going on overall. JWE had great models and a great game but is not near as complex as PZ.

Nobody can answer that question but Frontier, and I don't think they will do it.

The first DLC was on December 17. The second on April 7. That's a little more than three and a half months. The last month of development of this DLC was affect by Corona, because the pandemic reach most of Europe in mid March. I don't think that we can reach a conclusion from these dates wether Frontier planed a 3 or a 4 ;or any month interval between DLCs.

I do know the average dlc length for Planco was 3 months I believe from YouTubers if I remember right. You’ll never see a dlc faster then that imo. 3-4 months seems to be a proven track record with frontier.

Yeah sounds right to me as well.

Tbh, just look at other companies. COVID-19 affects companies on many levels.
