I personally wouldn't like anything post-Mesozoic, but I would welcome some pre-Mesozoic animals, at least those that survived into the Triassic.

I've seen a bunch of mock DLC packs in the reddit that would be great for DLC.

Overall, I want there to be a Triassic DLC. Triassic dinosaurs don't get enough attention in media.

Herrerasaurus, Coelophysis, and Mussaurus? Yes, please.

Larger DLC expasions that add eras into game.

Eras that be cool to add to game.

http://www.planetary.org/multimedia/space-images/charts/the-geologic-time-scale.html

could create habitats in eco zones for these guys.
Paleozoic - sweet time period with giant insect and spiders and tons of interesting water life
1. Devonan
2. Carboniferous
2. Permian

Mesozoic Period - I believe what game is based around.
3. Triassic
4. Jurassic for sure -
5. Cretaceous

Cenozoic period - be cool create some saber tooth cats and woolly mammoths or maybe giant sloths and interesting giant mammals period
6. Paleocene
7. Eocene

I like the idea of lava flows, BUT I don't think they should be an impassable terrain. I believe they should be a gameplay hazard for players to deal with.

There's a few things I wouldn't mind as DLC;

Modern-world Animals for one - I'm not asking for Zoo Tycoon, but I think (especially if there's future maps based in or around the main continents) a few modern-living creatures could make nice additions; the odd Lion or Tiger, an Elephant or Giraffe, maybe a Zebra or Wildebeest? In addition to modern-world animals, how about a few constructs from Planet Coaster? Again, I'm not expecting a game merger or anything that drastic, just a couple of thrill rides, some dodgems, maybe a rollercoaster or three (more limited build/customisation options) and a log flume or something?

I don't support a terrain dlc because that should be in the base game honestly.
Here is one creature that could be in a Triassic dlc.
Postosuchus
1920px-Postosuchus.jpg

A apex predator in North America that probably would have eaten small dinosaurs in it's region and the species was
possibly both bipedal and quadrupedal but that's still being debated since nobody knows for sure. I am leaning towards
Bipedal though.
I would also like Prosauropods to be either part of a update or a dlc.

Well bad luck, it's a Jurassic World licensed game and unless Universal agrees with something that isn't in the franchise, it probably will never be in the game.
How is it bad luck? How do we know (or not know) that Universal haven't agreed a modern world DLC pack?

You just want to re-enact the scene from the trailer, don't you?
Guilty! ;)

Why? We've a simulation-style game focused on Dinosaurs, but the mere thought of anything that isn't a Dinosaur (minus a Goat) has everyone horrified? I suppose you are equally as horrified by the prospect of rollercoasters and log flumes? I'd again ask why? Surely any park with an entertainment value would offer more than just animals. There are Zoo's in the world today that have rides for guests to break things up.

Curiously (to all), but if the prospect of Lions, Elephants & Zebra are frowned upon, what thoughts go toward the likes of Mammoths, Sabretooth Cats, Terror Birds and the like? They're all extinct, and yet they're not quite Dinosaurs - and before anyone says they shouldn't be included because they're not Jurassic Creatures, I'll remind you that a good number of Dino's in the game and films are from the Cretaceous Period, and not the Jurassic.

big difference between 50,000 years extinct and 70 million years. And the allure is much lower because the extinct animals there are basically just larger versions of animals today. I'd rather Frontier spent more time taking advantage of the thousands of dinosaur species found than waste time developing a bunch of new animation sets for neolithic animals.

Personally I hope any of these won't make it to the game. I just want it to be dinosaurs only and I don't care what period of time they existed :)

Because of the name of the game: Jurassic World Evolution.
Also did you see roller coasters, lions and elephants in the movies?
The dinosaurs are the main attraction and they have more than a thousand species to chose from to add to the game.

The issue is this isn't a zoo game for modern games. We aren't making a normal zoo, we are making something that has never been seen in the history of mankind. If people wanted to see lions they could go to any zoo in the world and see them.
