Dlc pack repeat unlock fix

So as it stands with these dlc packs you have to complete the mission/tasks on EACH save file in order to unlock them. That means you have to repeat the same tasks over an over again to play with new dinosaurs or new research upgrades on every one of your sandbox saves. Right now i have 2 JP 93 builds, 1 JW build, 1 JP san diego, 1 custom build, and a couple blank bases for future builds... That's having to unlock the SAME dlc 6 or 7 times!!!! It's pretty tedious...

So i thought up a way to fix it!

For future dlc packs can i suggest they are unlocked through the challenge mode the same as the challenge mode skins???

As a seperate mode once you complete the challenge on the difficulty requirements on the different islands it automatically unlocks the skins on all of your save files. Can we PLEASE do this for dlc packs?!

Go to tacano... Complete science contracts and unlock the new dinosaur for ALL of your save files at ONCE!!! So on and so forth.

I don't know why this isn't already a thing... The current system seems like an over sight. I had to replay secrets of dr wu 2 or 3 times last time and start saving over other files to keep from continuing to have to do it. Now with the carnivores pack im at it again.

Thanks.

Please no, challenge mode sucks...

There should be a third, separate, sandbox mode. True sandbox, with a bigger Nublar map, that allows instant access to anything unlocked in any other save. That would be all, really.

Well, the challenge mode is the closest thing we have to Operation Genesis mode. All to unlock on a single island instead of having to travel through 5 islands slowly.

The modes should be like this:

-Campaña: As up to now but transforming Nublar into another campaign island, maybe as Claire's supposed DLC or as resurrecting the original JP park.

-Sandbox: Separated from the campaign. The rest is the same. Only what has been unlocked in the campaign can be accessed. The map should be much larger than in the campaign.

-Challenge: Same as now. The maps must be much larger than in the campaign.

Explain this, I really can't see any parallel between JPOG and JWE, not counting the dinosaurs...

I don't like the current campaing, feels a bit absurd tbh; JPOG missions were much more fun. Sandbox should always be separate from "campaign", that's a great flaw in JWE design nowadays, and it should have a bigger map; ideally, the whole island.

You guys are missing my point...

Im not asking to do a "Challenge mode" 5 star an island to unlock a dlc dinosaur!!!!

Im saying we should be able to go into that seperate mode to complete the CONTRACTS they require us to do ALREADY to unlock a dlc dinosaur! That way it unlocks the dinosaur on ALL OF OUR SAVE FILES AT ONCE!!!!!! The same way challenge mode unlocks the skins for all of our save files. Right now my first save file is called jurassic park a1. I just unlocked the dlc carnivore pack on it. BUT.........IF I LOAD MY 2ND SAVE FILE CALLED JURASSIC PARK B2 THE CARNIVORE DLC PACK WONT BE UNLOCKED ON IT YET!!!! Which means ill have to complete the contracts on the 3 islands again under that save file to unlock them again! : (

Im saying let us unlock them ONCE through the challenge mode not doing the challenge mode task. Just doing the dlc contracts task on it so it unlocks for all of our game save files all at once.... Do you guys get what im saying now and how it would be beneficial?

But you still wouldn't have the content for the rest of your save files. So you couldn't use them in the parks you already built. That wouldnt solve the problem. Read my last post before this one. Hopefully i explained it better. Lol

In NO WAY am i suggesting we have to 5 star an island on ANY difficulty to unlock a dlc dino, that would be horrible. Im saying use the seperate mode to complete the division contracts: increase genome to 75%, increase shelter coverage to 80%...that stuff inside the challenge mode section. Not an actual 5 star challenge mode. If i had to do that for paid content i'd beat my head against a wall lol.

Also if we did it that way we wouldn't or shouldn't need to jump between islands. We complete the contracts on the last challenge mode save we have. So if you've completed one before and saved it you should still have a 5 star park on that mode that you can complete the contracts quickly on.

I don't think that's how neither Campaign nor Challenge modes are supposed to work, that's all. My point was: If the three modes were clearly separated, none of these problems would arise.

People should be able to choose the game mode they enjoy best, and not be forced to any. Having said that, however, I feel the devs intended the Campaign to be the way to progress and unlock things, and that's fine with me even if I don't particularly enjoy the "story".

The core problem is, we are just forced to play any other island (save Nublar) in either Campaign or Challenge because those maps are not available in Sandbox. That's how people end up with thousands of savegames and, sometimes, need to re-unlock things they thought they've already unlocked after mistakenly deleting some save.

Whenever a new update or DLC implement new staff, one Campaign save alone would be enough for everyone: that would be the "progress" and the "story" (I can see the first, but not the second) while we would just have our Parks on Sandbox saves.

JWE Challenge Mode and JPOG OG mode are similar in that you can build, investigate, dig and extract fossils on a single map. You can unlock everything in JWE Challenge Mode without playing the campaign. It's clear, right?

It is to unlock everything in the same scenario without changing the island and without playing the campaign. Challenge Mode does add more replayability to the game. You can go for the dinos you want thanks to the stars unlock (in the same way as in JPOG). That's why I say they look alike, mate.

But you couldn't "unlock everything" on a single map on JPOG. As far as I remember, the number of digsites available on every map was different and capped, so you couldn't have all dinosaurs on one map alone. Not without mods, at least. Still, I think I now see what you meant.

Story driven dlc makes sense to be in the campaign mode like secrets of dr wu. But dino packs offer no story. So it just doesn't make sense you have to unlock them in campaign mode to me.

I guess a simpler solution would be they're automatically unlocked without having to do anything, at least on nublar... Then you could just unlock them on the campaign maps by doing the contacts and getting the division rep up. It's just tedious... Like i discovered on my first save file while unlocking the carnivore pack that i still didnt have 100% genome for iguanadon, charcadontasaurus, or dreadnaughts done yet lol.

Having to unlock them doesn't make sense in the first place. But I stick to my point: if they ever need to be unlocked, this should happen on Campaign mode, that's the progress mode, that's where they "belong". I do agree that Nublar could help unlock them too, though.
