So I had a thought. Jurassic World: The Game has cenozoic animals, especially ice age animals. It sure would be cool if JWE 2 had those as well. I believe Camp Cretaceous also features some sabertooths.
There are many animals I'd love to see. The ice age has some alluring animals too. This DLC would be absolutely massive since it's a whole new category and another feature that I will explain next, so chances are it would come with quite a few animals. Not all of these, but a lot. Like 7-12. Here's a list of some good ones. Mammoths, smilodons, and megatheriums are basically a must though.
Animals
-Woolly Mammoth
-Mastodon
-Smilodon
-Megatherium
-Paracerithium
-Andrewsarchus
-Doedicurus
-Argentavis
-Moerithium
-Cave bears or short faced bears
-Dire wolves (maybe)
-Brontotherium
-Elasmotherium
-Thylacoleo
-Terror birds
-Castoroides
-Diprotodon
-Daeodon
-Megaloceros
-Titanoboa
-Megalania
-Basilosaurus
-Ambulocetus
-Paleoparadoxia
-Barinasuchus
-Kaprosuchus
-Dyrosaurus (Yes, dyrosaurus. I got confused too for a second too.)
Climate/biome domes
In terms of construction, it would function like an aviary or lagoon. They are bigger than an aviary, perhaps slightly bigger or smaller than a lagoon. Inside of these structures, you can use anything from any environment no matter the biome. For example, you can use snow in tropical or desert biomes. Of course, you can also use the plants from any biome. In addition, you can also set the domes to allow/simulate weather similar to the calm sandbox setting! No tornadoes in the house, please. Use your inside rain. (Perhaps sandstorms in desert domes could be allowed, though.)
And here's where climate domes get a little more fun and interesting. So hear me out on this: Make them buildable on the inside. Amenities, fences, response facilities, hatcheries, monorails, tours, all of it. Or perhaps they can get their own internal transport instead of monorails. There can be enterance ports/gates for monorails and tours. While at the same time it could also be possible to snap viewing galleries to the outside like an aviary or lagoon as well.
But let's take it even further-- making aviaries and lagoons buildable within them as well. Maybe they can snap to the climate domes in some way. This allows for flyers and marine animals to be put inside as well so they aren't left out! For connecting domes with different biomes, there will be some sort of separation or wall, with the option to choose between a solid wall and a glass wall.
Animal Needs
The animal needs would be based off of the biome the dome is set to. Requiring forest in a desert exhibit because you're on the Canada map would be annoying.
The Possibilities
Imagine what you could do with such a thing. You can make an ice age park in Arizona. Even in a non-ice age exhibit, the guests won't be boiling alive in the heat thanks to air conditioning! No heatstroke or fainting from dehydration here! You could make a desert exhibit in Washington or in the Sierra Nevadas. And once again, thanks to air conditioning, there is no need to worry about hypothermia or frostbite with your guests or dinos!
And you could create the ultimate multi-biome park for the most varied experience.
Balancing
Yes, this is indeed a VERY bold ask. And the climate domes are a little.. overpowered, for lack of a better term. However, this dlc, being so large (as it would also come with decor and whatnot) would be more expensive. Actually, I'd call it more of an expansion than just a DLC. Once you have the expansion/dlc, you could restrict the domes to sandbox and any relevant campaign, chaos theory, or challenge mode that may come with it.
