From the start was hoping they weren't going fully with the continent DLC
Personally I think they should go with continent if they already started it but doesn't have to be the next 3 DLC. They could mix it up.
I think the Aquatic pack was more of a 1 year thing.
At this point, it's really difficult thing to predict what they are planning to do - which is nice. Knowing exactly what they are planning to release as animals/theme, is not much fun imo. At least we can speculate on stuff.

I would never buy Island DLC with sun bear, tasmanian devil, fossa and kiwi - nothing special for me sorry. I love DLC that bring animals with new abilities

Hopefully we are not far from some kind of news now. Will be interesting to see if any of us have predicted something right.
Can I just ask do you not find that the 150 to 300 extra construction parts and components impressive?
I’m hoping it’s a Southeast Asia pack — cynically because I need some more SE Asian animals for my current zoo and less cynically because it would likely mean the gibbon has arrived. Since I don’t think we’re getting the gibbon, I would guess it’s just a general Asia pack with animals like musk ox, sun bear, clouded leopard, and possibly the cobra as the exhibit animal.

And the Sumatran tiger (though we already do have two tiger species).
One of the tenrec species from Madagascar (I couldn't choose which one, though they are all so small it would have to be an exhibit animal).
I think an southeast Asian pack would be cool too, though, as there are so many amazing animals that aren't in the game yet, like the sun bear, gibbon, and the dhole, tons of amazing birds, (and of course any of several cobra species).
As for architectural packs, it's certainly possible to add more styles we haven't seen. I'd like to see Mediterranean style, and related to this, a southwestern "Mission" US style of architecture. This could certainly be included with a European wildlife pack or North American wildlife pack.

What do you mean by that? The only animals that would really have a new "ability" are birds now with their flying capability (though I dont think we will truly get flying birds, I am expecting an aviary system with looped animations in this regard). And maybe some apes with brachiation, but Frontier might also take the route of just giving them enrichment options with fixed animation instead of probably very complicated complex brachiation.
If you think like unique rigs, I think tas. devil would need a new rig or a heavily adjusted one. It would also require tons of new animations so I dont think it would be simple re-skin. Same with the fossa. Kiwi might maybe use cassowary rig, but it would probably come with alot of new animations too. Sun bear also move a bit different from other bears so some adjustments would probably be made too. Non of these would be a re-skin animal. It would probably be on par with SA dlc. Non of these animals had any new "abiities" but they were all pretty well done and felt unique. Did you not buy South America DLC?

I expect the free update to be "improving climbing", including brachiation for our orangutans (as of today, orangutans are just orange gorillas).
DLC I expect an Asian or SE Asian, with the leaked sun bear and, at least, gibbons.

If I remember right Tuesdays and Thursdays are the most common days for them to share news (I might be wrong on this). I am crossing my fingers for a hint for an update tomorrow.
