Do Animals Age in the Trading Centre?

I managed to bag a female lion for 100 leafs (wasn't quick enough for the male!) so she's been stuck in the Trading Centre for years.

I haven't noticed that she's aged, but can someone confirm this?

Don't want to highlight it as a bug because it's extremely helpful.

They don't age. And I guess it's not a bug, cause the trade center seems to be time-indepenting by intention. Otherwise, besides the trade with other player, you would have problems to transfer animals between your own zoos.

I once asked this on a thread and the developers answered that the animals do not age. I’ll try to see if I can attach a quote from it.

Animals in the Trade Centre are essentially frozen in time, so welfare and age will not change. The reason for this is so they do not deteriorate while in the animal exchange!
