Discussion Do any existing tools track system state changes?

For the third weekend in a row I've moved myself to a system in the midst of a civil war, picked up a handful of missions while doing bits and bobs around the house in prep for cramming in a proper session later in the day only to see the civil war end before I've even fired a shot - Decima being the latest to lay down their arms at the mere thought of me entering the fray ;)

Do any tools around keep tabs not only on system state, but when it changed so that I can put myself into fresh civil war that might last through to the end of the day, rather than one about to end? eddb only tracks the current state, with no indication of when it transitioned into that state as far as I can tell.

EDDI has a feature where you set 'watched' systems to track controlling faction and system state changes.

The one caveat, as with any EDDN derived data, is somebody running an EDDN-aware app has to visit the system in order for the database to be updated.
