yeah learned that the hardway
after loosing binds etc after a couple of upgrades ive enable windows file history so they always get backed up without needing to think about it

yep I did that on the advice of Zieman in 2014 and have kept my backup updated ever since.
Odyssey version of binds is version 4.0 so I will have to edit entries in my guide when it drops to reflect that
(if a mod can reopen my pinned post for edit nearer the time or edit entries of 3.0.binds to read 4.0.binds that would be great ?)
as a precursor if you followed my guide when odyssey is released the game will create a new(In my case see my guide)
STRONTIUM DOG CONTROL4.0.binds that will just need the new foot controls and menus etc added I will keep my
STRONTIUM DOG CONTROL 3.0. binds as a fall back in a diff non frontier directory till safe to delete

lost your binds? want hasstle free backed up binds look no further
keybindings can reset if you visit the control section without one of your usual devices used to play the game ie hotas , xbox pad etc not plugged in or at that present moment is undetected by windows as it thinks your just using keyboard and mouse it simply rewrites your binds for you...

Look for Frontier title in
c/users/<USER>/Local Settings/Application Data
There will be most things, like visited stars and all options.
Edit: nvm found it
