Do commanders hostile to our ally show red?

Yes.
I am allied now with the dominating company at my hunting ground, fed are friendly too.
If a player shoot my allies, he will turn red on my radar.
I killed some players while hunting in a belt during the heat of a pirate raid because they went red and i select my targets per "select next hostile ship".
Poor guys blown up for 400cr or 600cr and i feel a bit sorry because i had no time to check the ammount of the bounty and engaged the next threat.
