Do console players have access to the new event?

I'm not a regular player, so I'm still in the bubble grinding to get money to buy new ships. However, is the new event available on console or is it Odyssey only?

Ok thanks. I guess it’s pretty much dead on console now other than continuous exploration and achievements hunting.

You still get the BGS stuff, the normal thargoid stuff as well

BGS... no, thanks. Without any new content on consoles will this game slowly dying. It's a fact, sadly.

Its not on any 3.8 client that includes PC EDH...
Youll see any galaxy map changes that happen due to the Narrative running on 4.0 but youll never see the narrative contents on console and PC Versions 3.8...
if the thargoids take the next 8 local systems as the 3 powers now run away you would see the galaxy map change to show that but only those on 4.0 will be told why those 8 systems flipped to thargoid run...

You can see the cutscene on console.
If you are in the HIP22460 you can see the destroyed megaships, but no thargoids.

So, the event it's only partially in Horizons - however, soon they will launch Horizons 4.0 and the Horizon players on PC will be able to enjoy the parts of the event that are not happening on-food on tenuous atmosphere planets
And the Consolers will get the transfers going in September
