PvP Do firing hatchbreakers from silent running reveal you for targeting as normal weapons do?

Working on some funsies pirate builds.

I'm aware if you fire weapons from silent running, enemy CMDR can then target you (although seems still effective at reducing seeker lock?).

Does firing a hatchbreak do likewise?

If there's any "canonical" post about the current state of silent running behavior, a link would be much appreciated. I've done a lot of googling, but some information seems out of date.

TIA

Good question. Been a long time since I've used hatch breakers, or had a silent ship try to use them on mine.

Being cold/silent reduces gimbal effectiveness and increases lock times, even if you've partially resolved by firing or getting your own missile lock, but since hatchbreakers only need a standard lock, I'm not sure how they interact with silent running.

Anyone near DW waypoint 2 with a hatchbreaker?

Yup. Even if you're properly running cold and absolutely undetectable.

At least, last time I tried this was the case.
