Do Food-/Drink-Upgrades satisfy Guests longer?

What exactly happens if I put Ketchup on Burgers/Ice in Drinks....?
Will this satisfy the Guest-Needs for a longer Time?

Probably yes, because the core game mechanics were transferred from PlanCo to PZ.
But it's only a guess, since the game developers decided that we - the gamers - don't need any helpful tool tips in PZ, although such tool tips are in PlanCo.

Thanks

It seems like we also can't see really if the Prices are too high or if they can get higher than they are currently, like we can see in the Guest-Thoughts when they are entering the Zoo

Ice in drinks definitely help them get cooler as I use them in zoos with higher heat levels and the rage the guests have against the heat are less noticeable because of the drink.

Well, unfortunately in PZ we can't see it per shop, but it should work in general, however. :)
When you raise the prices and the guests are starting to turn around just before cueing up, they have a corresponding thought bubble:

Or when you wait a couple of minutes after increasing shop prices, these thoughts also appear in the zoo overview panel:

But yes, in PlanCo you can see these types of guest-thoughts directly on the individual shop panel, which is far more practical.

thanks for sharing your experiences as well as the insights from PlanCo. I've been wondering the whole time what these micro management additions for food and drinks do. Shouldn't be much work to integrate this information four months after release (Beta).

Did someone already find out if it really affects Guests and if the Effects are the same as in Planet Coaster? I have some Problems in my Zoo and I think maybe it could help if the Guests wouldn't get as fast thirsty as they do at the Moment because I need to pay a lot of Refunds. It wouldn't help to build just more Shops because since the latest Update my Guests aren't moving as much as before and I think this is the Reason. I have multiple Shops in other Areas of the Zoo but they are relatively useless when they get only rarely visited.

There's actually a modder out there who, through research has discovered that indeed, condiments actually do things!

He's also got the size difference in animals figured out as well. Animals grow through their life. So that's why there is such a disproportion sometimes, as with elephants. And with people only breeding to release and whatnot. They never see the potential full size of the animal.

Thanks, I hope this will help.

The one about growing could be also useful. I've tried for some time to breed the biggest Saltwater Crocodile but they end all to grow at the same Size (all of the Animals had a Size-Gene of 100%). Because of my Observations I thought they would stop to grow sometime around the Age of 50. Maybe I'm doing something wrong

That this was find in the data does not mean that it is really applied in the game. There is also a "medikit" in the data, which is applied against sickness (that already had been showing in a menu in Beta). Maybe it's a leftover from PlanetCoaster or they've never finished this mechanism so far.

I hope that the developers will also retrofit that you do not have to research the Internet first, whether the additional ingredients have an effect and if so, which ones.
No matter whether negative or positive.

Unfortunately I can't view either of the two posted pictures, I keep getting the message "Our CDN was unable to reach our servers"
