I remember doing Tourist missions a long ago. There were always tons of materials at geysers and volcanic sites. Is this still the case?
Wow! Who knew? (Clearly not me.)
I always just swooped down low enough to scan the beacon and maybe cruise over the area quickly to see the spouts but never landed. I never knew there was anything there really worth landing for. I figured that once you've seen one geyser/fumarole you've basically seen them all.
I just might fit a buggy to my Orca next time I go out on a sightseeing run.

This wayDoes anyone know of a list with all known vent locations?
Same here, i'd like to ask a question about collecting these materials...do you need a refinery in your ship ar do you just collect them with the scarab ? And if the scarab is full, can you put these mat's in your cargobay ? Never used/landed a scarab before and i like to be prepared. I tried to find some reading about it for 2 day's now, but no answer about that.
I did'n know that you could land your ship IN a base and go outside w scarab either, so much to learn in this game you'll never get bored.

I know at the fumaroles in 61 Cygni there are crystals you can shoot for materials. Though they don't seem to respawn on relogging, so they may have put a timer on that.
Thanks Commander !Just scoop with srv
Material storage is with your cmdr, magic remlock pocket or something
Comes with you when you go into srv
I had seen this yesterday...well it was in the nightly hours already, and i missed the updated warning.
