Do guests care about seeing a species or a particular individual animal?

I'd like to set up some "off viewing" exhibits to keep seperate breeding pairs. Not sure of the guests care about seeing particular animals, in which case this won't work or if they would be happy as long as they see any tiger for example.

GoogleTranslator:

I think that the guests want to see a very specific animal.
If that is not within reach, then there is complaining.
I can't explain it any other way if the hippos look at each other and claim the view is bad.
But right in front of the guest's nose, one of the animals is eating.
If you click on the location marker, it jumps to a hippo at the far end of the enclosure.

In my experience, guests don't care as long as it's any animal (so if you have multiple tigers, they're happy with seeing any tiger). Now, if an animal is too far to see in an enclosure, I think guests will still complain even if another one is closer to them. Like if they can see tiger A, but tiger B is far away (or vice versa), they might say the view is bad. If both animals are close, they won't complain at all since none are too far away.

ye, it's pretty wierd that if not ALL of the animals in the habitat is right by the habitat barrier at all times, the guests complain. Well, the guests seems to like to complain about lots of things, I would love to see if any real person reacted like the guests in the game in a real zoo. They would be laughed at and banned for life :p

They seem to be looking for specific animals. I don't know if that's been reduced in the last couple of patches since it's been about 3 weeks since I played last. But if you do a lot of release/selling, you'll notice a lot of guests will have a removed animal mention in their thought bubbles, or they'll be disappointed they didn't see the lions even though they're standing right next to the lion habitat. I noticed I had less refunds in a zoo I was playing that let animals age out and had contraception management than the one I let just go wild and was constantly releasing.

I'm assuming this happens when a guest is on their way to see an animal, and the animal doesn't exist anymore for whatever reason (death, traded out, etc.). I also get these bubbles when a guest leaves early for whatever reason without reaching said habitat.

Likely. They generate with the desires already so it's not like we can do anything about it.

Surely we realise that if we all went to the zoo today, we might all be looking forward to seeing completely different things. It should be obvious that lots of effort has been made toward this realism in the game.
