Do I get more credits when I bring my Exploration Data further away?

Lets say I explore system X.
It has 10 planets and suns, nice.
I go to nearest station and sell the carthografy data there. I get 10.000 credits.

If I had sold the data a lot further away, lets say 200 LY further, would I have gotten more credits?
And does it matter who I sell the data to?
Does it increase faction/reputation?

In my experience, no, you will always get the same amount of credits, regardless of distance. I'm pretty sure that selling data raises your reputation with the faction controlling the station you are selling it to, yes.

I had one drop to 0. It was only 30 ly away. Might have been a bug, maybe someone beat me too it, but I would only hang on to them if you are waiting to reach a base you want to gain rep with.
