Do I need to be be online constantly for franchise mode?

Or could I just turn on internet when buying animals and saving?

Hmm steam was ofline a while ago and I saw a comment “I’ve been logged in since yesterday so no problem I just can’t use the market” or something along those lines. So I don’t think you need a connection apart to log in and to use the market. One way to be certain thought is to just try it I guess.
