Do Installations Produce? And Some other questions.

Curious do Agriculture,Mining,Medical,Research Installations,etc. Produce?

On planet can you Dock at Agriculture etc. Hubs and Settlements?

If they do Produce do they transport the stuff to the Station I built in system or do I need to build Mining,Commercial,Industrial, etc Outposts?

Is there a way to change your system from Dictatorship to something better? want to have my system to be safe and produce stuff.

Which would I need to build to produce CMM Composites, etc?

Thank you for any Advice or Help.
Hope this is the right place for these questions.

They aren't dockable, so they probably don't produce anything directly.

They may have other benefits from their changes to things like Wealth or Security Level but exactly what those do isn't clear yet.

Hubs, no.

Settlements are the Odyssey settlements, so yes

Changing the government type can be done by equalising its influence with a different faction in the system, then winning the resulting war or election.

In most cases this won't affect either security or commodity production very much, though.

CMM Composites require a dockable Surface Refinery ... but there doesn't appear to be any way to just build one of those.

If there's a more complicated way to get one it's not been figured out yet.

Hope this is the right place for these questions.
As good as any :) But no-one really has the answers yet. Maybe check back in a few months.

So may I assume the Outposts and settlements produce? like mining outposts and settlements same with agriculture, industrial, commercial etc?

With changing the dictatorship to something better would that be done through Powerplay maybe?

Yes, correct.
(Anything with a Colony economy is unlikely to produce anything except biowaste and hydrogen fuel, though)

Not quite - through the political BGS.

That said, there's nothing particularly "wrong" with a Dictatorship: they have a relatively short list of illegal goods, and no negative effect on system security, so the only real reason to swap them is for flavour reasons. If you want to do that, probably the easiest way to do it is:
- pick another faction in the system which you like better (keep it simple: pick one that's already in the system - you can get other factions from outside the system in but it will be a huge amount of work)
- run missions for them only (and pick the Influence reward option if it's available)
- don't sell cargo or exploration data to stations owned by the Dictatorship (continuing your construction projects is fine, though)
- if you bounty hunt, use a KWS and only hand in bounties for the faction you want to support (most will be for the Dictatorship: definitely don't hand those in)

After a few days of this, your faction and the Dictatorship should end up matching influence levels in the system. This (for most things you could swap with a Dictatorship) will be a War - so fight in the combat zones each day to win that and put your chosen faction in charge.

(If you're the only person doing stuff in the system, this will be really easy. If there are other people passing through - perhaps even supporters of the Dictatorship - it might be considerably more difficult)

The only reason I thought it would be through Power Play was cause of this;
I am allied with her btw.

Once I was done building up was going to start doing stuff for that system for my Empress :)
