General Gameplay Do NOT Add Non-Mesozoic Animals

Your Feature Request / Idea
Everyone keeps saying that Cenozoic creatures should be added but I would HATE it if they were added. I'm fine with pterosaurs and aquatic reptiles (they still have a "dinosaur" feel) but these creatures are not something that belongs in a dinosaur game. It would completely mess up the feel. They have appeared in no movies or novels nor are they in most of the games. As far as I know, Frontier has no plans to add them; please keep it that way.

I support this but I'd go one step further. No pterosaurs and marine reptiles either and please, no more hybrids. I hope Frontier will focus their efforts on making this the best dino park builder with the most accurate and beautiful dinosaurs.

P. S. I really do love dinosaurs if it's not clear by now.

I get the feeling this is just another "I don't like it so don't add it" request thread. Your logic is... pretty bad actually. They don't have a "dinosaur feel" to them? What does that even mean exactly? If you can't come up with a definitive reason then it's just your opinion... and not appearing in novels or most games? Lots of stuff in this game haven't appeared in anything Jurassic Park related but there they are... in the game...

Simply by virtue of the fact that this is a Jurassic Park game and all the animals already in the game, we already know this is never going to happen... if you want this you need to go play something else like Prehistoric Kingdom... of course, then you'd have to suffer with all those non-Dinosaurs...

Worry not I am aware but I think all the dinosaurs from the movies are already in the game (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong) so apart from adding feathers I don't think there's anything that prevents them from making accurate dinosaurs.

There are some inaccuracies ingrained into the design of pretty much every dinosaur so far (canon and non-canon), such as every finger having a toe claw (if you have a look at a crocodile or alligator, you can see the lack of claws on the outer two).
Also the addition of the quite drastically inaccurate Carcharodontosaurus, simply for the purpose of differentiating from another close relative, indicates to me that accuracy is always going to play second fiddle.

Compies I believe are the only dinosaur from the franchise that are not in the game.
