I am aware of how NPC pilots generally work, but I couldn't find an answer to the above question. My NPC pilot enjoys his 16% share in all the money I earn. I suppose that exploration progress is calculated by the value of the exploration data that you hand in - I wonder if the basis of this calculation is the value of the data before or after Richie Rich gets his share?
He mostly hangs around in the VIP section of the crew lounge, sipping bourbon and lighting cigars with 1.000 credit bills... I know I should have replaced him with someone I trained from "harmless" a long time ago. But I've kinda grown attached to him and wouldn't want to sack him unless necessary.
