Do NPCs fly the Corvette & Cutter?

In the months since 2.0 launched, I'm still yet to see either of these ships (only play Solo and sparsely-populated groups). Are they in combat zones? Only certain systems?

At least if I ever buy one, I'll feel all nice 'n' unique 'n' special.

Yes they do. Cutters are very rare. But I have seen a few Corvettes as Elite rank assassination missions. They usually have a few mods and obviously have the Elite AI.

Cheers guys, good to know. Perhaps as a Dangerous pilot I'm not yet worthy of such attention. Probably no harm, if they have fighters too coming soon(tm).

I think the ship you fly, may attract a similar kind.

Interesting question, but from my experience I have never come across a cutter or corvette outside of a CZ. I havent played in a few weeks but I used to play 24/7 even before 2.1 came out.

No, only very special targets in assassination missions and CZs have them spawn at all. It is very rare (read - CMDR only) for a private citizen to own such vessels.

You get corvette in elite assassination missions.

Cutter and Corvette are in Cz too.

Never saw them in different places however...
