do the payouts from passenger missions add to trade rank (like trade mission payouts)?

It would make a lot of sense.

I have a very low trade rank and like to do some passenger missions (wont go back out into the void before i can get an Asp Ship Kit - give it, give it now... Err pretty please). I'll give it a try and test.

Hmm I'm not sure. They could either add to exploration rank OR trade rank.
