Do ship repairs in first person

Whenever walking in around your ship is implemented, it would be awesome to be floating around in space doing emergency repairs on your ship. Maybe you would need to keep a supply of repair kits and spare parts (scrap?) on board to be able to do it.

You could do this in X3 and while it was a long and tedious task, EVAs conveyed an idea of the dimensions of your ship (in relation to the character) and made for great screenshots.

Yeah, in a lot of respects X3 was a great surrogate for Elite before ED came along. I spent many an hour playing all the X3 titles
