Couldn't really find a clear answer on this? I purchased the game in October of 2014 for 75 bucks, I believe it was called the premium beta or something. Does anyone know if this includes the lifetime or know how to look it up? The invoice is pretty vague...

Yes premium beta cost more than standard beta because it's standard beta with a lifetime pass included.
yep , prem beta since june and it haz lifetime pass.

Yes, Premium Beta includes LEP.
But I fear that ended in July 14, and what you have is Standard Beta.
Yes it did, but I do not think you purchased premium beta. You purchased after it sold out, and the price for premium beta was 150, normal beta was 75.
They made the price jump WAY too much now for those of us who weren't around in alpha/kickstarter. Totally ridiculous, how could I support something that I didn't even know existed.

I agree LTP went from 50 to 195$ Though for totally new players it's cheaper to buy the game now, if you don't buy the LTP that is, because if you preorder Horizons you get the base game free which we payed for.
People who paid for standard beta are basically having to rebuy the game at full price. and don't even get access to beta unless they buy the beta horizons...
Dunno but base game is 45$usd but an expansion is 60$usd, seems pretty clear to me the the expansion should have been something much lower than 60$ for peeps that own the game already and those that were in previous beta should get to beta horizons even if they don't buy the beta version of horizons.

Happens with every kickstarter as well. While I have the PB I got a lesser package because I backed after kickstarter. Also the lifetime pass was supposed to be gone for good, so a massive price increase only makes since for something that should not be sold in the first place.
It was 150$ for Premium Beta + expansion pass (not counting the previously paid alpha access at 145$...), now it's 195$ for the expansion pass, without any risk of vaporware.
It has not jumped so much IMO.
Well originally you could purchase the game and the lifetime pass and only spend $100. So the price has doubled. But yes when compared to the PB price its only a mark up of $45.
I am a little confused as well. But I do believe since I bought the game in August 2014 I have the Premium at $75. But you would think that when you log into your account to purchase the Horizons and the LTP that it would see you are a Premium user and tell you that, and not take your order. Well, Oh dumb me, I Jumped on this as soon as I read the DEV thread and purchased both. Now I believe I need to cancel the order. That is not going to be easy I guess. It was paid via Paypal, so I might be able to do it on there site.
Don't cancel. $75 is the price for Standard Beta.
I don't think he will get beta access, only PB, new lifetime pass purchases and alpha accesses backers get that. If you purchased the standalone lifetime pass you don't get the betas.
I have had beta access to all the updates so far, unless they have changed it for the Horizons.
I think I do get beta access ................... looking at the FAQ I already own Elite: Dangerous, what am I entitled to?
