Do things orbit other things?

I have approached a station I regularly use and found it to be in a different place in relation to it's parent planet or moon... Is it orbiting as per sim.

Has any one observed this for anything else? ...or confirmed it to be the case?

Just interested.

Yea, stuff orbits other stuff just like they should. Planets orbit around their suns, etc.

Every thing orbits, actually Galaxies orbit, albeit more clumsily... Maybe Universes orbit each other myabe possible, we dont know what there is beyond 30 billion LY , which of course is nothing really, I mean it is a bit but a bit of unending is next to nothing, so 30 bill. almost pitiful little and , and what am I doing here ?

Yes sir... I saw it in action at the the recent Luxury Traders at Beta Sculptoris. Their "site" was at a pair of moons near the station. Both the smaller moon and the Trader's site were orbiting the larger moon, and spending a few days going back and forth on the same short route (with breaks for sleeping, working etc) allowed me to watch the positions change over time as everything orbited everything else. Was fun to see happening.

Normally you wouldn't notice coz you don't visit the same station & site so frequently for so long.

Even ships appear to orbit stations, albeit slowly. (And of course stations orbit ships as well)

Was doing a back and forth last night, each time the star I was hypering too was getting closer to the planet, until eventually it was mass blocked by the planet. I love this, gives me a sense of realism.

Yes! You too will soon get y when you have to supercruise around a planet or moon to get into your favorite statiion because the goddang orbits should be functioning on my schedule!!!
