Do underwater pathways no longer work, or did I just forget how to do it?

I have made zoos in the past, and used underwater tunnels for guests and transports. I really enjoyed adding that variety to my zoo.
I haven't played in a few months and decided to make a new zoo with the new content. For some reason I can not, for the life of me, get an underwater walking path or a transport path to work at all. Did I just forget to do it, or did a new patch make it not work anymore?

It's still works. Path, terrain and water together are all kind of tricky so you have to fiddle a little bit. Are you sure you're making the tunnel deep enough?
