Do we have a dynamic npc system population mechanic that can change with completed missions

For reference colonia system pre 2.2 was 750 population

Today right now it is 6

Ill reference back tomorrow, if anyone completes any passanger missions to jaques please do let us know, it could be a daily, a weekly or no dynamicism at all but it might be well worth watching

No we don't... that question was asked of the devs during the beta and a live stream and was answered by sandro himself. The population probably only changed as a result of the new patch or possible dev interaction. There is no dynamic or player influenced population changes in elite.

That traffic report only counts players, not NPCs.


Edit - NvM, I thought you were talking about the Traffic Report from Jaques, not the population list on the System map. Might be an oops on their part. They did adjust a lot of stuff for Colonia.

Theres some semi interesting reports but will see during the next week or so if anything changes at all outside of developer intervention there could be secret mechanics being tested or added

NPC Population on system map ( not traffic report which is about 60 at the moment) so youre not thinking of the thing im thinking of

on galmap if u mouse over it has star class, alligence and then population ( thats the npc population of the system) its current 6
