Do we have to hide buildings in PC2?

As long as hiding them in buildings completely eliminates the negative effect on guests, I'll be happy. I always found it a bit annoying in Planet Zoo when I'd build a lovely building to hide the water pumps and generators and then guests would still be affected by something they'd, in reality, have no idea was there.

Same. I love the idea of having to hide them. But I want the scenary to actually completely hide it. Not guests to have x-ray eyes and get angry

Personally, I don't see how some of these can even have a negative effect.
We all know when we go to theme parks etc that we are to expect some sort of power generator for rides etc.
So some will always be visible.

I saw a park has fitted solar panels and I smiled and thought, oh that's great.

So it wasn't a bug in Planet Zoo... interesting xD I like the idea of hiding mechanical facilities, too. For me personally, i don't want to see an ugly generator while i am in a park and get immersed xD

Almost the same as in the game:

TRANSFORMERS

Relatively cheap to build and have a large functional radius, but are a non-renewable source of energy and have a running cost based on the number of items they are powering. Guests are not impressed by seeing transformers and will become unhappy if they meet the eye; place them away from sight to avoid this.

WIND TURBINES

A renewable energy source that’s more efficient in windy, colder climes. They cost more to purchase than a transformer, but incur no running costs. Guests understand the benefit of wind turbines, but they are noisy and so they still incur a small happiness penalty.

SOLAR PANELS

A renewable energy source that's more efficient in warmer, sunny climates. Like Wind Turbines, they cost more to purchase than Transformers but don't have a running cost. Guests understand the benefit of Solar panels so they're neutral to their presence.

okay wait so question since I don't play Planet Zoo, if the transformer or any of this items break does the power go out?
