Do we know how long Horizons will be separate from Odyssey?

I'm assuming until the console release. But is there any real info on this?

Considering the "road map" we were given for development confirms that we will not see further development of the game until after console release. And the two things we might see is some mild optimization and maybe some UI changes, Im not interested in paying for a optimized beta. Horizons I feel is still a good experience. and am happy to stay here without the "improved lighting and planet generation" for the time being.

Until they manage to make it work well enough to merge them.
Nobody can tell when (and if) it'll happen

(I actually was expecting the scheduling of Horizons 4.0 beta for sometimes this summer though, but i guess it's too early even for that)
