Horizons Do we need the Detailed Surface Scanner now that we have Planetary Landings?.

Now that we have planetary landing via the SRV is it necessary to have the Detailed Surface Scanner?. The only reason I can see to have it on board now if you have an SRV is if the Advanced Discovery Scanner doesn't show which planets can be landed on, but I am sure that it is the ADS that does that scan. In this event can we do without the DSC?.

The Detailed Surface Scanner will not give you any details about the surface you scan. Only a good old universal cartographic entry. So, you can do without :D

Is useful for telling you if there are pristine reserves or not and for finding out the gravity value of a planet

The Detail Scanner will give you much more information abut the Planet and of course a detail scan will give you more Credits then a Scan without. So for exploration hes pretty much mandatory, outside of that you can do fine without him but you could do fine without him even before Horizons so thats not new.

Seriously debating getting this module as it (x2)+? Your data value and upcoming 'materials data' patch but I canny fit it in Cap'n- without sacrificing shield/fuel scoop/srv/ads/fueltank? Love Diamondback X but not 'nuff room 😑
