Newcomer / Intro Do we spawn Randomly?

Hello there.

I have been on this game a few days now, got myself a Hauler and 260Kish roughly. I am wanting to head to Empire Space which I know I can just travel too, however I was wondering if there was an option for you to start in their Space or does everyone start in Federation Space?

Unfortunately all players start in Federation. You'll have to travel to join us. But in a Hauler it's like 15 jumps from LHS 3447. Easily done. Just don't forget a fuel scoop :)

Sick of these Federationers! Will be making the jump across with 3 of my fellow CMDR's shortly.

Also furthermore if I purchase some Imperial Slaves for my trip, do the Empire pay a handsome reward for those?
