Do we still get new content if a new Guardian site is discovered?

Don't really mind being stuck in Legacy, Odyssey was never really my thing. But supposedly there are still unknown guardian sites out there that were added to the game back in Horizons. Does that mean we can still expect a tiny little bit of new content?

It'd be a nice thing to know there's still some stuff left to uncover.

All content that was put in the game pre the split is still in 3.8 legacy. You can live the dream that all those Expensive PC rig players with automation and macro scripts missed some thing... thats your choice...

4.0 live has a NON walkies version and that is still getting the same new stuff as that is the 4.0 version engine supported and was given away free to every one who copied the account over to PC...
but walking has not been required to do any off it since the split. Even on live version walkies has no part in the story anyway so EDO has not been required for the live server story... All of it can be done with out leaving a ship so far...

I imagine there are still sites that haven't been discovered yet, so finding them now or in the future would be considered "new" in the game world, however unless Frontier "restarts" console and "legacy" development we won't get any actually new content in "legacy" mode, unfortunately! .

Yeah but don't you see my point? Those sites are already there. Assumably this includes any leftover guardian tech from Horizons?

If there was a site that hadn't been discovered and wasn't a post-Odyssey addition, then yes, you could discover it in Legacy just as well as in Live. There'll be plenty of those still out there, people find them occasionally.

New sites which give something the existing sites don't, however, remain purely hypothetical; no new type of site has been found for quite a while, no tech broker entries requiring unknown commodities or materials are shown, no hints from Frontier that maybe we should be looking for something else. It would be very odd for Frontier to have fully implemented another module but not done anything over several years to suggest that it could be unlocked in-game.
