Ships Do Weapon Experimental Effects affect Thargoid Interceptors?

Guys, I was fitting out a new Challenger for AX and I have more weapons slot than I need. Figuring a normal Turreted MC would probably not be worth the power draw versus its effectiveness against scouts, I was wonder if drag munitions might affect Interceptors. I also wonder if dispersal field might also work against the Thargoids. I search to see if anyone has tried this before, but didn't find threads.
 
Thargoids are not affected by Dispersal Field, TLB, or any other status effects to disrupt targeting. I don’t think I’ve ever tried drag against them, but I doubt it would work either. Chaff, ECM, point defense do not work on the thargoid or the swarm.

The only way to disrupt their targeting is to be cold. Heat sinks and long range beam lasers with the Thermal Vent mod are the standard.

Guardian weapons are significantly stronger than base AX weapons, if you don’t have them, I recommend getting some as soon as you can.
 
I would love to know this. I would love to know whether I could drop a sheet of mines for the Thargoid to give chase right through them. IF mines could harm them.

For reals? Bummer that. So I guess I'll quit dragging a chaff launcher around... thanks for the info.

BTW: mission hand in at/near Tarach Tor is no go at the moment. Been waiting about ten minutes. Gonna try solo next....
... no joy in solo either. Gonna try Horizons next...
